Zeledon Gaskon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 17th minute Alberto Alfonso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baldomero Florinio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 19 minutes into the match, Gustavo Urtsin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Baldomero Florinio. Pandilla Cobayeril's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gustavo Urtsin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. After a rather tough play, Dep. Rengo y Ricota F. C's Urbano Dantae got a free kick in the 24th minute. Baldomero Florinio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zeledon Gaskon, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Ramiro Naldo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Bonifacio Charro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 36 minutes into the game, Dep. Rengo y Ricota F. C's Gavino Lizer nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Baldomero Florinio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. In the 44th minute Zeledon Gaskon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baldomero Florinio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gustavo Urtsin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baldomero Florinio having to interfere. Zeledon Gaskon received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Baldomero Florinio came out and tried to block the shot, but Zeledon Gaskon slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 47th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gustavo Urtsin to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute, Pandilla Cobayeril's Ismael Tabb seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Ismael Tabb the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Pandilla Cobayeril protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Ismael Tabb had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 55 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Pandilla Cobayeril! Aldo Opilano shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. 61 minutes into the match, Pandilla Cobayeril's goal looked a bit too open when Gustavo Urtsin came free, but Baldomero Florinio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ramiro Naldo hit a great ball. 99 minutes into the match, Gustavo Urtsin notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Pandilla Cobayeril's Baldomero Florinio. Baldomero Florinio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Dep. Rengo y Ricota F. C's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
