Ruben Benvido came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by Candelaria FC's Guido Koldobika. But to his dismay, Guido Koldobika quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Mukenio's Christian Frechoso got a free kick in the 13th minute. 14 minutes into the match, Nunez Gartzea sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Ruben Benvido threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Nunez Gartzea this time. Guido Koldobika sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Roman Barros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ruben Benvido took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guido Koldobika, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After taking down the ball on Candelaria FC's corner Nunez Gartzea fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ruben Benvido quite easily take care of the ball. When Carmelo Cordario fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Candelaria FC's protests and gave Carmelo Cordario a yellow card for diving instead. In the 23rd minute, Carmelo Cordario hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximiliano Todor in the 25th minute of play forced Candelaria FC's goalkeeper Fernan Ibon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Guido Koldobika had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gustavo Galindo was extremely unlucky when he, in the 29th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximiliano Todor in the 31st minute of play forced Candelaria FC's goalkeeper Fernan Ibon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Candelaria FC booed when Deportivo Mukenio was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristo Bermudo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 36 minutes into the match, Desiderio Bieito had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fernan Ibon. Candelaria FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Desiderio Bieito was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Maximiliano Todor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Fernan Ibon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carmelo Cordario kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. A collision led to Candelaria FC getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Delmar Kelemen hit a great ball. Fernan Ibon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Desiderio Bieito, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gustavo Galindo was the one to do the kick off. Gustavo Galindo hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Candelaria FC's Fernan Ibon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximiliano Todor in the 52nd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristo Bermudo got free with Fernan Ibon in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Maximiliano Todor received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Fernan Ibon came out and tried to block the shot, but Maximiliano Todor slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 73rd minute. 80 minutes into the match, Candelaria FC's goalkeeper Fernan Ibon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Desiderio Bieito. Maximiliano Todor received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Fernan Ibon came out and tried to block the shot, but Maximiliano Todor slotted it home off the left post making it 1-4 in the 84th minute. Ruben Benvido showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustavo Galindo in the 87th minute of the match. If Gustavo Galindo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Deportivo Mukenio walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
