In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Deportivo Medievales's goalkeeper Atilano Pirmin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Dep. Rengo y Ricota F. C's Bonifacio Charro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mario Lauaxeta in the 40th minute of play. Atilano Pirmin made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Gustavo Urtsin sent off a good shot on target. 1-1 became the score in the 48th minute when Gavino Lizer elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar.

The wind increased when Gualterio Niguel made the kick off in the second half. After 55 played minutes Dep. Rengo y Ricota F. C got a freekick which was hit by Ariel Alvarez. Gualterio Niguel shot from long distance in the 55th minute, but Bonifacio Charro was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gavino Lizer in the 57th minute of play forced Deportivo Medievales's goalkeeper Atilano Pirmin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 59 minutes into the match, Dep. Rengo y Ricota F. C from getting behind. When Urbano Dantae fell near the penalty area in the 98th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dep. Rengo y Ricota F. C's protests and gave Urbano Dantae a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Dep. Rengo y Ricota F. C's Urbano Dantae got a free kick in the 98th minute. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
