Roman Montez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Hipolito Mino hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. After 18 minutes, Augusto Gaitan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Villa Mitre and the Barreal FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Villa Mitre's Augusto Gaitan got a free kick in the 18th minute. Eloy Perutxo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roman Montez having to interfere. 25 minutes into the match, Teofilo Serapio notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Villa Mitre's Roman Montez. Roman Montez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Barreal FC getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Teofilo Serapio hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Villa Mitre's Leandro Gabirel got a free kick in the 38th minute. Astor Shepherd, 43 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Raul Cordarell made a kick off. Barreal FC's Honorato Lluciano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Astor Shepherd in the 52nd minute of play. In the 60th minute, Barreal FC's Apolo Teodor dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. Villa Mitre's Roman Montez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Apolo Teodor in the 64th minute of play. In the 76th minute Raul Cordarell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Honorato Lluciano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonas Beltxe might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Honorato Lluciano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jonas Beltxe ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 79th minute Augusto Gaitan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Honorato Lluciano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Barreal FC booed when Villa Mitre was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leandro Jenaro didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Apolo Teodor came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Barreal FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Apolo Teodor couldn't finish the play. Denis Pio hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Barreal FC's Hipolito Mino got a free kick in the 84th minute. In the 85th minute of the match Astor Shepherd sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Honorato Lluciano skillfully saved the ball. Honorato Lluciano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raul Cordarell in the 91st minute of the match. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Barreal FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
