Spectators: 145 (Terracing: 110, Seating: 33, VIP seats: 2) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Jeremias Paul got the match started through his kick off. After having played for 3 minutes, Vinicio Itzaina managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. INDEPENDIENTE F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Vinicio Itzaina was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 4 minutes into the match, La Gallardeta's goal looked a bit too open when Nemesio Tabb came free, but Jaime Nafarroa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in La Gallardeta's zone, Martin Herrera stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jaime Nafarroa came out of the goal and Martin Herrera tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 17th minute, Jeremias Paul got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 20 minutes, Isidoro Senon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. INDEPENDIENTE F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Isidoro Senon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 22 minutes, Fernando Perrando successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Vinicio Itzaina hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in La Gallardeta's zone, Isidoro Senon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jaime Nafarroa came out of the goal and Isidoro Senon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Apolo Naelio fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored La Gallardeta's protests and gave Apolo Naelio a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, La Gallardeta's Apolo Naelio got a free kick in the 28th minute. After 29 played minutes, INDEPENDIENTE F.C.'s Miguel Avellaneda shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jaime Nafarroa came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in INDEPENDIENTE F.C. reached it. INDEPENDIENTE F.C.'s Fernando Perrando played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeremias Paul in the 30th minute of play. In the 31st minute, Martin Herrera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fernando Perrando made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Jeremias Paul sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Alfredo Papo managed to get in a good position for a shot. INDEPENDIENTE F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Alfredo Papo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jaime Nafarroa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jaime Nafarroa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nemesio Tabb in the 40th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 53rd minute, Apolo Naelio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 63 minutes into the match, La Gallardeta's Jeremias Paul sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fernando Perrando narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Vinicio Itzaina received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Jaime Nafarroa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vinicio Itzaina's late challenge caught a La Gallardeta's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vinicio Itzaina helped the player get up and apologised. In the 71st minute, Vinicio Itzaina hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vinicio Itzaina sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Isidoro Senon kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jaime Nafarroa. That made the score 0-2 in the 79 minute of play. After 83 played minutes INDEPENDIENTE F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Martin Herrera. Sebastian Edur charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sebastian Edur the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 85th match minute, La Gallardeta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastian Edur to maneuver through the defense. Erubiel Chuan charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Erubiel Chuan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. La Gallardeta's Jaime Nafarroa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isidoro Senon in the 90th minute of play. The supporters of La Gallardeta booed when INDEPENDIENTE F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miguel Avellaneda didn't get a good kick on the ball. La Gallardeta's Apolo Naelio couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 94th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for INDEPENDIENTE F.C.. Jeremias Paul's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fernando Perrando read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play. When the final whistle sounded INDEPENDIENTE F.C. left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than La Gallardeta.
