In the 14th minute Lucio Maju shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Prospero Matxin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The AFC CERBEROS fans' excitement grew in the 16th match minute when AFC CERBEROS's Lucio Maju looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Prospero Matxin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lucio Maju's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Fulgencio Beliran managed to get in a good position for a shot. AFC CERBEROS's supporters rose to their feet, but Fulgencio Beliran was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Prospero Matxin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Prospero Matxin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fulgencio Beliran in the 32nd minute of play. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ricardo Benat to make the kick off. During the 52nd minute of the match Cleto Estebano completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Cleto Estebano a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game.
