In the 5th minute, Eriberto Benet ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ismael Garaona was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Florentino Henric in the 8th minute of play forced Trinidad 4.7's goalkeeper Ismael Garaona to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rogelio Gaur made an important save on a dangerous shot by Segundo Caitano in the 10th minute. Rogelio Gaur made an important save on a dangerous shot by Segundo Caitano in the 27th minute. After some careless play in the Tigre defense, Segundo Caitano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rogelio Gaur. The Tigre fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rogelio Gaur should have stopped the shot. Teofilo Virila fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ismael Garaona having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eriberto Benet in the 33rd minute of play forced Trinidad 4.7's goalkeeper Ismael Garaona to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an all-out effort, Trinidad 4.7's Rogelio Gaur threw himself towards the right post 35 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Leo Ochoa, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 36th minute, Nemesio Lauro reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Rogelio Gaur. The goal made the score 2-2. Rogelio Gaur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Segundo Caitano, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Nemesio Lauro kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Rogelio Gaur. That made the score 3-2 in the 44 minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-2.

The wind increased when Victor Orzaize made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Trinidad 4.7's Leo Ochoa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rogelio Gaur made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-2. Ismael Garaona made an important save on a dangerous shot by Teofilo Virila in the 56th minute. Rogelio Gaur came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Trinidad 4.7's Victor Orzaize. But to his dismay, Victor Orzaize quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-2. Rogelio Gaur showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victor Orzaize in the 62nd minute of the match. Genaro Nataniel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Leo Ochoa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Rogelio Gaur showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Segundo Caitano in the 72nd minute of the match. After some careless play in the Tigre defense, Nemesio Lauro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rogelio Gaur. The Tigre fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rogelio Gaur should have stopped the shot. When Augusto Liher got free in front of the goal in the 78th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Ismael Garaona was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After some careless play in the Tigre defense, Nemesio Lauro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rogelio Gaur. The Tigre fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rogelio Gaur should have stopped the shot. Tigre's Rogelio Gaur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victor Orzaize in the 83rd minute of play. Nemesio Lauro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rogelio Gaur read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 92 minutes, Victor Orzaize put it in 9-2 from a short distance just to the right of Rogelio Gaur.
