Spectators: 146 (Terracing: 110, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 2) When Ramiro Erramu fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mi querida Fabiola's protests and gave Ramiro Erramu a yellow card for diving instead. Ramiro Erramu hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. In the 5th minute, Guillermo Beltza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Efrain Tabby showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mingo Torrente in the 6th minute of the match. Anacleto Clementi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After having played for 22 minutes, Flavio Vigil managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mi querida Fabiola's supporters crossed their fingers, but Flavio Vigil was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 26 minutes of play, Mi querida Fabiola's Evelio Mikelar made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Leon Bartuelo was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 30th minute of the match, Mingo Torrente tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Efrain Tabby saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Efrain Tabby didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mingo Torrente went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. With a little luck, Mi querida Fabiola's Efrain Tabby got control of the ball when Nestor Tabb tried to sneak it across the goal line. Efrain Tabby made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Nestor Tabb sent off a good shot on target. When the match clock showed 41 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Flavio Vigil sped through Newells Old Boys's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Leon Bartuelo.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Evelio Mikelar stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Mingo Torrente had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Efrain Tabby. Mi querida Fabiola's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mingo Torrente was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. 59 minutes into the match, Mingo Torrente notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Mi querida Fabiola's Efrain Tabby. Efrain Tabby was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Newells Old Boys's Mingo Torrente in the 62nd minute got a chance for a shot 62nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mi querida Fabiola's goalie prevented a goal. After 66 minutes of play, Newells Old Boys's Mingo Torrente made it 4-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Efrain Tabby was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some careless play in the Mi querida Fabiola defense, Mingo Torrente kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Efrain Tabby. The Mi querida Fabiola fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Efrain Tabby should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Mi querida Fabiola booed when Newells Old Boys was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anacleto Clementi didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 74th minute, Mi querida Fabiola's Flavio Vigil ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Leon Bartuelo. Leon Bartuelo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 5-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mingo Torrente in the 77th minute of play forced Mi querida Fabiola's goalkeeper Efrain Tabby to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mingo Torrente in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Efrain Tabby prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evelio Mikelar in the 89th minute of play forced Newells Old Boys's goalkeeper Leon Bartuelo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Mingo Torrente had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Efrain Tabby showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nestor Tabb in the 97th minute of the match.
