Leonides Micael started the match with the kick off. After some careless play in the Tupungata defense, Leonel Oinaz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rigoberto Rufo. The Tupungata fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rigoberto Rufo should have stopped the shot. Mauricio Nesor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonides Micael, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Atletic Elooo's Mauricio Nesor proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Atletic Elooo from getting a goal against them. 28 minutes into the game, Mario Quintana was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tupungata's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Atletic Elooo the free kick. In the 28th minute, Mario Quintana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leonel Oinaz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rigoberto Rufo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. After 35 minutes, Adrian Niva made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Tupungata's Rigoberto Rufo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 39th minute Leonel Oinaz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rigoberto Rufo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 41 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Leonel Oinaz sped through Tupungata's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rigoberto Rufo. Atletic Elooo's Leonel Oinaz got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonel Oinaz in the 45th minute of play forced Tupungata's goalkeeper Rigoberto Rufo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 47th minute, Adrian Niva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half Atletic Elooo were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Leonel Oinaz to strike the kick off in the second half. The Atletic Elooo fans' excitement grew in the 59th match minute when Atletic Elooo's Leonel Oinaz looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-6 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a rather tough play, Atletic Elooo's Bernabe Hunfredo got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Severiano Belasko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Leonel Oinaz who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 69thth minute tested the skills of Rigoberto Rufo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 73 minutes, Leonel Oinaz made it 0-7 with a short kick to the right side. Tupungata's Rigoberto Rufo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 77th minute of the game. One of Tupungata:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Atletic Elooo:s goal. The referee gave Atletic Elooo a penalty, 78 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Leonel Oinaz, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Tupungata's Rigoberto Rufo. 0-8. After 83 played minutes Tupungata got a freekick which was hit by Moises Llorienzo. Adrian Niva blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rigoberto Rufo having to make a save. When the match was over Atletic Elooo could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Tupungata throughout the match.
