Spectators: 145 (Terracing: 110, Seating: 33, VIP seats: 2) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Leonides Micael took the kick off in the first half of the match. A hard shot 2 in the game by Amadeo Cebo from a close distance when the talented Rigoberto Rufo managed to make a qualified save. Tupungata's players were relieved. Tupungata's Rigoberto Rufo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amadeo Cebo in the 4th minute of play. Denis Salvidor recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Timoteo Umbruso hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. In the 16th minute, Denis Salvidor ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rigoberto Rufo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Amadeo Cebo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Rigoberto Rufo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Jacobo Olivar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Honorio Pinto got free with Rigoberto Rufo in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 34th match minute, Tupungata was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonides Micael to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Tupungata's Vladimiro Loreto got a free kick in the 37th minute. Tupungata's Rigoberto Rufo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Tupungata from getting a goal against them. With an all-out effort, Club Atletico Lanus's Rigoberto Rufo threw himself towards the right post 42 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Amadeo Cebo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Mario Quintana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Astor Teofilio having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Amadeo Cebo was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Tupungata's goal looked a bit too open when Amadeo Cebo came free, but Rigoberto Rufo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Amadeo Cebo in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rigoberto Rufo saved Tupungata from getting behind. 57 minutes in the game, Leonides Micael fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Astor Teofilio having to interfere. 57 minutes into the game, Tupungata's Leonides Micael nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Astor Teofilio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Rigoberto Rufo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Amadeo Cebo's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. After 68 minutes Tupungata's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Honorio Pinto who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Honorio Pinto got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Rigoberto Rufo quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Amadeo Cebo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rigoberto Rufo having to interfere. 85 minutes into the match, Honorio Pinto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rigoberto Rufo. Tupungata's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Honorio Pinto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. In the 88th minute, Jacobo Olivar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club Atletico Lanus fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. 93 minutes into the game, Amadeo Cebo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Rigoberto Rufo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Club Atletico Lanus's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
