The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 2 minutes, Esteve Abreu mouthed his way into the referee's book. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leonides Micael in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Everardo Santxol saved Club Atlético Ranchos from getting behind. Club Atlético Ranchos's Everardo Santxol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ulises Prejun in the 58th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lorenzo Pepillo got free with Rigoberto Rufo in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rigoberto Rufo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Esteve Abreu, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. In the 66th match minute, Club Atlético Ranchos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Florentino Obeko to maneuver through the defense.
