Seating: 33, VIP seats: 2) When Severo Cordaryal came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Chimborazo A.F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Severo Cordaryal couldn't finish the play. 6 minutes into the match, Chelforó's goal looked a bit too open when Camilo Berdaitz came free, but Igor Janpier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 8th minute Severo Cordaryal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Igor Janpier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Igor Janpier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Samuel Oton, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Tiburcio Tello kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. In the 21st match minute, Chimborazo A.F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Severo Cordaryal to maneuver through the defense. Chimborazo A.F.C's Clodoveo Peru proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Chimborazo A.F.C from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Chimborazo A.F.C's Clodoveo Peru got control of the ball when Carolo Obeko tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Carolo Obeko kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Clodoveo Peru. That made the score 1-2 in the 27 minute of play. Arnulfo Procopio took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Igor Janpier. Igor Janpier dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Igor Janpier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Samuel Oton in the 39th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 40 minutes, Carolo Obeko took a quick shot and it went in 2-3 without a chance for Clodoveo Peru to make any attempt to save it. Igor Janpier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tiburcio Tello in the 45th minute of play. Chelforó's Igor Janpier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Samuel Oton in the 46th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 2-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Samuel Oton to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, Tiburcio Tello was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chimborazo A.F.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chelforó the free kick. In the 52nd minute of the match Generoso Galoer sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Clodoveo Peru skillfully saved the ball. The supporters of Chimborazo A.F.C booed when Chelforó was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carolo Obeko didn't get a good kick on the ball. Igor Janpier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Samuel Oton in the 58th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carolo Obeko in the 61st minute of play forced Chimborazo A.F.C's goalkeeper Clodoveo Peru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 62 minutes of play, Chelforó's Froilan Ikatz made it 3-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Clodoveo Peru was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some careless play in the Chimborazo A.F.C defense, Carolo Obeko kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Clodoveo Peru. The Chimborazo A.F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Clodoveo Peru should have stopped the shot. Severo Cordaryal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Igor Janpier made a huge save. In the 75th minute, Generoso Galoer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 82 minutes into the match, Chelforó's goal looked a bit too open when Samuel Oton came free, but Igor Janpier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 85th minute, Chimborazo A.F.C's Samuel Oton ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Igor Janpier. Igor Janpier yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 5-5. Igor Janpier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tiburcio Tello in the 91st minute of the match. Froilan Ikatz's late challenge caught a Chimborazo A.F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Froilan Ikatz helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Chimborazo A.F.C booed when Chelforó was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Froilan Ikatz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Igor Janpier made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Severo Cordaryal sent off a good shot on target. When the match was over Chimborazo A.F.C could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Chelforó throughout the match.
