Without hesitation aimed to the right of Melquiades Patxi, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. EL PEPO FC's Melquiades Patxi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save EL PEPO FC from getting a goal against them. In the 33rd minute, Edelmiro Txaran hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. EL PEPO FC's Melquiades Patxi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save EL PEPO FC from getting a goal against them. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

In the 52nd minute, EL PEPO FC's Ovidio Argider seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Ovidio Argider the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of EL PEPO FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Ovidio Argider had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. A collision led to EL PEPO FC getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Ovidio Argider hit a great ball. Eleuterio Frederico struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Melquiades Patxi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vinará FC. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Vinará FC booed when EL PEPO FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomás Satordi didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 75thth minute of the game Gustavo Aznar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but EL PEPO FC's Melquiades Patxi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 80 minutes, Eleuterio Frederico mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vinará FC and the EL PEPO FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 80th minute, Eleuterio Frederico hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
