In the 18th minute, Edgard Herauso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tomás Satordi hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. After having played for 21 minutes, Mariano Asur managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cepicó FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mariano Asur was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Atilano Blasco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Melquiades Patxi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in EL PEPO FC's zone, Mariano Asur stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Melquiades Patxi came out of the goal and Mariano Asur tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Edgard Herauso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Leonardo Frichoso made a huge save. 27 minutes into the game, Guido Endira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cepicó FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave EL PEPO FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Cepicó FC's Guido Endira got a free kick in the 28th minute. Leonardo Frichoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafael Clodio in the 30th minute of the match. Leonardo Frichoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafael Clodio in the 31st minute of play. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mariano Asur made a kick off. Melquiades Patxi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gervasio Lauren in the 53rd minute of the match. 55 minutes into the game, Cepicó FC's Mariano Asur nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Melquiades Patxi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Edgard Herauso blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Leonardo Frichoso having to make a save. A collision led to EL PEPO FC getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Edgard Herauso hit a great ball. If Atilano Blasco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Cepicó FC's Mariano Asur in the 69th minute got a chance for a shot 69th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye EL PEPO FC's goalie prevented a goal. After 71 played minutes EL PEPO FC got a freekick which was hit by Jacinto Ayala. In the 80th minute, Cepicó FC's Mariano Asur ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Melquiades Patxi. Melquiades Patxi yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Mariano Asur managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cepicó FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Mariano Asur was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Melquiades Patxi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to EL PEPO FC getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Jacinto Ayala hit a great ball. 94 minutes into the game, Ceferino Rosalio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cepicó FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave EL PEPO FC the free kick. After 94 played minutes Cepicó FC got a freekick which was hit by Ceferino Rosalio. The Cepicó FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Cepicó FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
