Spectators: 152 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Cecilio Ubarna kicked off to start the match. If Rolando Reynardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Juninho Pernambucano in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Uriel Belmiro saved Santa Maradona from getting behind. The supporters of Newpi Academy booed when Santa Maradona was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodrigo Soler didn't get a good kick on the ball. Uriel Belmiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juninho Pernambucano in the 17th minute of play. In the 18th minute, Santa Maradona's Eliseo Guter ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Benji Price. Benji Price yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Ariel Costa made in the 22nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Newpi Academy's Maximino Eguerdi. In the 24thth minute of the game Juninho Pernambucano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Santa Maradona's Uriel Belmiro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ariel Costa during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 25th match minute, Santa Maradona was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ariel Costa to maneuver through the defense. In the 27th minute, Juninho Pernambucano made a precise shot to the right of Uriel Belmiro. Santa Maradona's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Newpi Academy's Benji Price played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristo Guillerme in the 38th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Juninho Pernambucano in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Uriel Belmiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Eliseo Guter could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Benji Price made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arnoldo Lleir got free with Benji Price in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Juninho Pernambucano made a kick off. The supporters of Santa Maradona booed when Newpi Academy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rolando Reynardo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 56 minutes into the match, Newpi Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Cecilio Ubarna came free, but Benji Price reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 60 minutes into the match, Santa Maradona's goal looked a bit too open when Juninho Pernambucano came free, but Uriel Belmiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cecilio Ubarna in the 71st minute of play forced Newpi Academy's goalkeeper Benji Price to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Rolando Reynardo came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Newpi Academy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rolando Reynardo couldn't finish the play. Juninho Pernambucanos short, quick shot in the 93rdth minute got Uriel Belmiro to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Cristo Guillerme fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benji Price having to interfere.
