Feliciano Geleberto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustavo Rutenio in the 10th minute of play. In the last second Miguel Laurentzi throw himself and got hold of the ball when Wilfredo Berriotxoa in the 11thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Gerardo Pirmin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Miguel Laurentzi made a huge save. Miguel Laurentzi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wilfredo Berriotxoa's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. In the 18th minute, Wilfredo Berriotxoa reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Miguel Laurentzi. The goal made the score 1-0. 24 minutes into the match, Cleto Efren had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Miguel Laurentzi. TIBURON F.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cleto Efren was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Wilfredo Berriotxoa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Miguel Laurentzi made a huge save. Miguel Laurentzi was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Wilfredo Berriotxoa showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 32 minute of play. Miguel Laurentzi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilfredo Berriotxoa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gerardo Pirmin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Miguel Laurentzi made a huge save. If Alonzo Rocendo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Omar Celino made a kick off. Omar Celino took the ball and in the 51 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Feliciano Geleberto. Feliciano Geleberto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. 54 minutes into the game, Wilfredo Berriotxoa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Miguel Laurentzi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. TIBURON F.C's Miguel Laurentzi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerardo Pirmin in the 63rd minute of play. Miguel Laurentzi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilfredo Berriotxoa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Miguel Laurentzi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilfredo Berriotxoa in the 71st minute of the match. Teo Petrigai's late challenge caught a Atlético Nacional's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Teo Petrigai helped the player get up and apologised. 77 minutes into the game, one of TIBURON F.C:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 78th minute there was a penalty for Atlético Nacional. Celestino Rudolfo stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Miguel Laurentzi. 5-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Gerardo Pirmin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atlético Nacional's supporters rose to their feet, but Gerardo Pirmin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Miguel Laurentzi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Atlético Nacional's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
