Baldomiro Oriol was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Serafino Tabb made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Marcial Feliu sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alejandro Chano in the 10th minute of play forced Madison's goalkeeper Baldomiro Oriol to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anacleto Eguen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Platense es de Primera!!'s Serafino Tabb played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hernan Uzuri in the 18th minute of play. Humberto Eliu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 25 minutes of play, Platense es de Primera!!'s Anacleto Eguen made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Baldomiro Oriol was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mario Ponc charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mario Ponc the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Platense es de Primera!!'s Mario Ponc got a free kick in the 31st minute. The long shot by Severino Claude in the 31st minute really tested Serafino Tabb's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. If German Txindoki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 38th match minute, Madison was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jacobo Iban to maneuver through the defense. In the 41st minute, Alejandro Chano made a precise shot to the right of Baldomiro Oriol. Madison's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alejandro Chano to make the kick off. 61 minutes into the game, Jairo Medero was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Platense es de Primera!!'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Madison the free kick. After a rather tough play, Platense es de Primera!!'s Jairo Medero got a free kick in the 65th minute. Platense es de Primera!!'s Serafino Tabb played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hernan Uzuri in the 69th minute of play. Baldomiro Oriol showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from German Txindoki in the 71st minute of the match. When Jacobo Iban fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Madison's protests and gave Jacobo Iban a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Madison getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Jacobo Iban hit a great ball. In the 81st minute Hernan Uzuri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Serafino Tabb saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anacleto Eguen's late challenge caught a Madison's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anacleto Eguen helped the player get up and apologised. After having played for 88 minutes, Hernan Uzuri managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Madison's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hernan Uzuri was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 90th minute, Hernan Uzuri got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 93 minutes into the match, Platense es de Primera!!'s goal looked a bit too open when Hernan Uzuri came free, but Serafino Tabb reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Platense es de Primera!! booed when Madison was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcial Feliu didn't get a good kick on the ball. 97 minutes into the match, Hernan Uzuri notched a goal, 2-4, to the right of Platense es de Primera!!'s Serafino Tabb. Serafino Tabb was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Platense es de Primera!! supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Platense es de Primera!! would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
