The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Belgrano LOS PIRATAS booed when C.A.P.J. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teofilo Dolfo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Narciso Montel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alejo Elizardo, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. C.A.P.J.'s Iker Rolado got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 28th match minute, Belgrano LOS PIRATAS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cecilio Heli to maneuver through the defense. In the 37th minute, Octavio Paskal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gavino Osorio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teofilo Dolfo in the 42nd minute of play. Cipriano Darien struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Narciso Montel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Belgrano LOS PIRATAS. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Teofilo Dolfo made the kick off in the second half. Iker Rolado kicked well hit freekick during the 50th minute of the match. Iker Rolado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gavino Osorio having to interfere. C.A.P.J.'s Narciso Montel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alejo Elizardo in the 60th minute of play. In the 61st minute of the match Belgrano LOS PIRATAS got a corner. C.A.P.J.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Santos Sotero ran over to the corner to take the kick. Santos Sotero made a great header on Belgrano LOS PIRATAS's corner, it was just that C.A.P.J.'s Narciso Montel managed to reach the ball for a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teofilo Dolfo in the 63rd minute of play forced Belgrano LOS PIRATAS's goalkeeper Gavino Osorio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
