Spectators: 150 (Terracing: 113, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 3) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Sergio Caitano got the match started through his kick off. Narciso Montel was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Sergio Caitano showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 4 minute of play. Sergio Caitano blasted a shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Narciso Montel having to make a save. Narciso Montel was a little too slow when Sergio Caitano got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 10th minute. The score was now 2-0. Velez Sarsfield's Genaro Argina shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 14th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Narciso Montel but with some difficulty. In the 16th minute Sergio Caitano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Narciso Montel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Lino Lluis fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored C.A.P.J.'s protests and gave Lino Lluis a yellow card for diving instead. In the 17th match minute, C.A.P.J. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lino Lluis to maneuver through the defense. When Lino Lluis was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 24 minutes had been played. Velez Sarsfield made a substitution. Benicio Diagur replaced Rodolfo Flores. The supporters of Velez Sarsfield booed when C.A.P.J. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lino Lluis didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Sergio Caitano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Benicio Danel got free with Narciso Montel in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 35 minutes into the match, C.A.P.J.'s goalkeeper Narciso Montel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Isaac Marcones. Geronimo Marques kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Narciso Montel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Genaro Argina in the 40th minute of play. Narciso Montel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sergio Caitano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Geronimo Marques to make the kick off. Narciso Montel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Benicio Danel's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. In the 55th match minute, C.A.P.J. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Salvador Estebano to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to C.A.P.J. getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Reynaldo Tello hit a great ball. Sebastian Bidun was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 57th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. A collision led to C.A.P.J. getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Salvador Estebano hit a great ball. 62 minutes into the match, C.A.P.J.'s goal looked a bit too open when Benicio Danel came free, but Narciso Montel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Narciso Montel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sergio Caitano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 67 minutes, Gregorio Arce mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the C.A.P.J. and the Velez Sarsfield players grew even worse after the yellow card. Narciso Montel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Braulio Pierres in the 69th minute of play. Velez Sarsfield's Uriel Raymon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geronimo Marques in the 74th minute of play. The supporters of Velez Sarsfield booed when C.A.P.J. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Florencio Serafo didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee felt a red card was in order, 77 minutes into the game, when Alfredo Frederik put in a rough tackle. In the 80th minute there was a penalty for Velez Sarsfield. Sebastian Bidun stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Narciso Montel. 3-0. 86 minutes into the match, C.A.P.J.'s goal looked a bit too open when Sergio Caitano came free, but Narciso Montel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 88th minute, Sergio Caitano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Narciso Montel was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Narciso Montel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sergio Caitano in the 93rd minute of play. 97 minutes into the match, C.A.P.J.'s goal looked a bit too open when Sergio Caitano came free, but Narciso Montel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. There was no doubt that Velez Sarsfield were the better team. Velez Sarsfield's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
