In the 23rd minute of the match, Geronimo Satordi got a very nice opportunity to score, but Hugo Platon was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Branco FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave chacarita juniors the free kick. When the match had gone on for 53 minutes, Primitivo Claus took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Esteban Iigo to make any attempt to save it. Hugo Platon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sotiris Vergos in the 62nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sotiris Vergos in the 64th minute of play forced chacarita juniors's goalkeeper Hugo Platon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee gave Poroso Cubero a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Poroso Cubero hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. In the 93rd minute, Gualterio Quexal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Although Branco FC had been in control for most of the match, chacarita juniors still came away with the win.
