Spectators: 152 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Basilio Mateus took the kick off in the first half of the match. Benigno Manilan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pancho Gonzales in the 4th minute of play. When Braulio Ourente fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sarmiento de Resistencia's protests and gave Braulio Ourente a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Pilar FC booed when Sarmiento de Resistencia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Braulio Ourente didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sarmiento de Resistencia's Benigno Manilan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severino Astrada in the 21st minute of play. Benigno Manilan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Severino Astrada, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. After 24th play minutes Severino Astrada shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Benigno Manilan and just under the crossbar into goal. After having played for 29 minutes, Pancho Gonzales managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pilar FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pancho Gonzales was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Severino Astrada hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Pablo Mouche scored 0-2 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benigno Manilan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Benigno Manilan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pancho Gonzales, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Siro Elazar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvio Cordairo having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Pancho Gonzales received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Benigno Manilan came out and tried to block the shot, but Pancho Gonzales slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 53rd minute. Siro Elazar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Silvio Cordairo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Pilar FC's Pancho Gonzales in the 61st minute got a chance for a shot 61st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sarmiento de Resistencia's goalie prevented a goal. Sarmiento de Resistencia's Benigno Manilan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Sarmiento de Resistencia from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Pilar FC getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Saverio Etxahun hit a great ball. Silvio Cordairo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Basilio Mateus, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Severino Astrada was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 65th minute. Pilar FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 67 minutes into the game, Pablo Mouche recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Benigno Manilan. Pablo Mouche showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. The crowd rose to their feet as Pilar FC's Pablo Mouche slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Benigno Manilan. That made the score 0-5 after 70 minutes of play. 73 minutes into the match, Sarmiento de Resistencia's goal looked a bit too open when Pablo Mouche came free, but Benigno Manilan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Severino Astrada could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Benigno Manilan made a huge save. After 79 played minutes Paolo Lalla rounded Sarmiento de Resistencia's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-6. When the match had gone on for 83 minutes, Pablo Mouche took a quick shot and it went in 0-7 without a chance for Benigno Manilan to make any attempt to save it. Severino Astrada fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benigno Manilan having to interfere. Pilar FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
