In the 3rd minute, Tetra Pack FC's Adan Ruisko dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. With a little luck, Piratas FC's Victorino Gaufred got control of the ball when Adan Ruisko tried to sneak it across the goal line. Adan Ruisko's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Victorino Gaufred read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. The corner ended in Marcos Dubardo almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Piratas FC's Victorino Gaufred did a great save. 19 minutes into the match, Tetra Pack FC's Arnulfo Fernendo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Victorino Gaufred narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Emilio Osoro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nunez Hernandez in the 23rd minute of play. With a little luck, Piratas FC's Victorino Gaufred got control of the ball when Adan Ruisko tried to sneak it across the goal line. Zeledon Laffitte kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. In the 31st minute, Nunez Hernandez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. Adan Ruisko might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Victorino Gaufred. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Adan Ruisko ran back to his position shaking his head. When Adan Ruisko came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Tetra Pack FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adan Ruisko couldn't finish the play. Tetra Pack FC were awarded a corner in the 40th minute after Piratas FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Marcos Dubardo took the corner. When Adan Ruisko came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Tetra Pack FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adan Ruisko couldn't finish the play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Adan Ruisko to strike the kick off in the second half. Octavio Tab got a throw-in 56 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Angel Isusko. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Octavio Tab during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Piratas FC's Victorino Gaufred played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adan Ruisko in the 66th minute of play. 70 minutes into the match, Adan Ruisko had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Victorino Gaufred. Piratas FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Adan Ruisko was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. After a rather tough play, Piratas FC's Zeledon Laffitte got a free kick in the 75th minute. Octavio Tab made in the 76th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Martin Dalmai immediately put the ball in play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adan Ruisko in the 79th minute of play forced Piratas FC's goalkeeper Victorino Gaufred to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Tetra Pack FC defense, Angel Isusko kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Emilio Osoro. The Tetra Pack FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Emilio Osoro should have stopped the shot. Tetra Pack FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Marcos Dubardo in the 89th minute. Arnulfo Fernendo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
