The supporters of Piratas FC booed when TORQUE F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teodoro Dubardo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Julian Eutropio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dalmacio Rik, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. A collision led to TORQUE F.C. getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Haroldo Nofre hit a great ball. Piratas FC's Nunez Hernandez got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 17 minutes into the match, TORQUE F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Nunez Hernandez came free, but Julian Eutropio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wilfredo Mede kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Piratas FC's Amadeo Vito got a free kick in the 29th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-4 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gabriel Federigo to strike the kick off in the second half. Nunez Hernandez who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 53rdth minute tested the skills of Julian Eutropio when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nunez Hernandez got free with Julian Eutropio in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 58 minutes into the game, Haroldo Nofre was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. TORQUE F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Piratas FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, TORQUE F.C.'s Haroldo Nofre got a free kick in the 58th minute. Zeledon Laffitte charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Zeledon Laffitte the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Piratas FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Nunez Hernandez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julian Eutropio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match had gone on for 80 minutes, Jacinto Lizardi put it in 2-5 from a short distance just to the right of Aaron Maria. Nunez Hernandez hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match.
