In the 36th minute of the match Ramon Rufio sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Honorato Benino skillfully saved the ball. Modesto Naelio's late challenge caught a Knight Of Dawn's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Modesto Naelio helped the player get up and apologised. In the 38th minute, Modesto Naelio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half Pan FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bernabe Tulio made a kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Saturnino Urritz threw the ball into play from the sideline. Pan FC's Cafu Soares quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After having played for 54 minutes, Bernabe Tulio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Knight Of Dawn's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bernabe Tulio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Pan FC booed when Knight Of Dawn was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eliseo Magdaleno didn't get a good kick on the ball. Teobaldo Damario scored 1-1 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arsenio Osorio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Arsenio Osorio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pastor Iraitz in the 81st minute of the match. Arsenio Osorio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pastor Iraitz's shot from short distance in the 81st minute.
