Pan FC's Arsenio Osorio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucas Langoni in the 12th minute of play. If Ildefonso Marcones had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ildefonso Marcones came free with the goalkeeper in the 14th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Rene Higuita could save by the left post. In the 17th minute Ildefonso Marcones shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rene Higuita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucas Langoni in the 20th minute of play forced Pan FC's goalkeeper Arsenio Osorio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Serafino Abadie's late challenge caught a ..Villa Rugby Club..'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Serafino Abadie helped the player get up and apologised. After 23 played minutes Pan FC got a freekick which was hit by Serafino Abadie. After taking down the ball on ..Villa Rugby Club..'s corner Manuel Iban fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Arsenio Osorio quite easily take care of the ball. Arsenio Osorio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manuel Iban, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Serafino Abadie hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. The supporters of ..Villa Rugby Club.. booed when Pan FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cafu Soares didn't get a good kick on the ball. The throw-in from Rosendo Beti in the 40th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Pan FC's Juan José Van De Gucht. When Manuel Iban came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the ..Villa Rugby Club.. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Manuel Iban couldn't finish the play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cafu Soares stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cafu Soares took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rene Higuita. Rene Higuita dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. With a little luck, Pan FC's Arsenio Osorio got control of the ball when Manuel Iban tried to sneak it across the goal line. Arsenio Osorio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucas Langoni, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Arsenio Osorio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Manuel Iban in the 64th minute. 67 minutes into the game, Rosendo Beti was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ..Villa Rugby Club..'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pan FC the free kick. In the 67th minute, Rosendo Beti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafael Leoncio in the 71st minute of play forced Pan FC's goalkeeper Arsenio Osorio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ildefonso Marcones sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 75 minutes into the match, ..Villa Rugby Club..'s goal looked a bit too open when Ildefonso Marcones came free, but Rene Higuita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 76th minute, Augusto Udalaitz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 79th minute of the match, Manuel Iban got a very nice opportunity to score, but Arsenio Osorio was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 87 minutes in the game Rosendo Beti did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Guillermo Kopola. In the 88th minute, ..Villa Rugby Club..'s Rafael Leoncio ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Arsenio Osorio. Arsenio Osorio yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-4. When the final whistle sounded ..Villa Rugby Club.. left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Pan FC.
