When Cremonese's Sixto Ralondo in the 4th minute got a chance for a shot 4th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye AZURDUY F.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, AZURDUY F.C.'s Gonzalo Pudes got a free kick in the 6th minute. The audience was convinced that Alejo Weterio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Horacio Vitin was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. If Gonzalo Pudes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. After 15 minutes, Roque Reno mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AZURDUY F.C. and the Cremonese players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 15th minute of the game. One of AZURDUY F.C.:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Cremonese:s goal. The supporters of AZURDUY F.C. booed when Cremonese was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfonso Domeka didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Alfonso Domeka's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Maximino Millan was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. Cremonese's Horacio Vitin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cipriano Chuan in the 25th minute of play. Maximino Millan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfonso Domeka in the 27th minute of the match. In the 28th match minute, Cremonese was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Primitivo Abadia to maneuver through the defense. In the 35th minute of the match, Alfonso Domeka tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Maximino Millan saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alejo Weterio in the 43rd minute of play forced Cremonese's goalkeeper Horacio Vitin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Cipriano Chuan made the kick off in the second half. If Cipriano Chuan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Maximino Millan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Melchor Ondino in the 55th minute of play. In the 61st minute Melchor Ondino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximino Millan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gonzalo Pudes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cipriano Chuan received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Horacio Vitin came out and tried to block the shot, but Cipriano Chuan slotted it home off the left post making it 0-1 in the 65th minute. AZURDUY F.C.'s Maximino Millan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfonso Domeka in the 71st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Prudencio Ostargi in the 72nd minute of play forced AZURDUY F.C.'s goalkeeper Maximino Millan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Bartolo Gerazan fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cremonese's protests and gave Bartolo Gerazan a yellow card for diving instead. Bartolo Gerazan kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. In the 77th minute of the match Amador Hitzeder shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Horacio Vitin showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The supporters of Cremonese booed when AZURDUY F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alejo Weterio didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in AZURDUY F.C.'s zone, Alfonso Domeka stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maximino Millan came out of the goal and Alfonso Domeka tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 83rd minute Melchor Ondino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximino Millan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 87th minute of the match, Cipriano Chuan tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Horacio Vitin saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 89thth minute of the game Alfonso Domeka who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AZURDUY F.C.'s Maximino Millan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. AZURDUY F.C.'s players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
