Blas Gonchan hit a great ball. Alberto Diagur made a fantastic save in the 4th minute, when Guillermo Manilan sent off a good shot on target. When PGE FC's Cristo Gonchan in the 9th minute got a chance for a shot 9th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Club Deportivo Álvarez's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mauro Oinatz in the 11th minute of play forced PGE FC's goalkeeper Alberto Diagur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fred Alcântara might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alberto Diagur. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fred Alcântara ran back to his position shaking his head. 12 minutes into the match, Club Deportivo Álvarez's Fred Alcântara sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alberto Diagur narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Alberto Diagur was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Fred Alcântara showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 12 minute of play. In the 15th match minute, Club Deportivo Álvarez was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fred Alcântara to maneuver through the defense. In the 17th minute, PGE FC's Erasmo Valentine seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Erasmo Valentine the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of PGE FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Erasmo Valentine had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Erasmo Valentine kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. The supporters of Club Deportivo Álvarez booed when PGE FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Esteban Frasco didn't get a good kick on the ball. 24 minutes into the match, Club Deportivo Álvarez's goal looked a bit too open when Guillermo Eguen came free, but Maximino Constancio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Club Deportivo Álvarez's Maximino Constancio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Epifanio Guillelmus in the 25th minute of play. Esteban Frasco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximino Constancio having to interfere. Esteban Frasco blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Maximino Constancio having to make a save. Fred Alcântara could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Alberto Diagur made a huge save. Through an outstanding action, after 36 minutes, Alberto Diagur successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Guillermo Eguen struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Maximino Constancio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for PGE FC. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Guillermo Manilan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute Guillermo Manilan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alberto Diagur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 56th match minute, Club Deportivo Álvarez was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henrik Larsson to maneuver through the defense. After 57 played minutes PGE FC got a freekick which was hit by Guillermo Eguen. 60 minutes into the match, Club Deportivo Álvarez's goalkeeper Maximino Constancio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Esteban Frasco. Guillermo Eguen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Maximino Constancio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Maximino Constancio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guillermo Eguen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Club Deportivo Álvarez's Maximino Constancio got control of the ball when Esteban Frasco tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Guillermo Manilan in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alberto Diagur saved PGE FC from getting behind. Gara Dryburgh hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. After 80 played minutes PGE FC got a freekick which was hit by Gara Dryburgh. Guillermo Eguen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Maximino Constancio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, PGE FC's Esteban Frasco got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Guillermo Eguen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Victor Incendio hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Victor Incendio kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. The Club Deportivo Álvarez players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
