In the 40th minute, Bruno Errolan sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Expresso Ranelagh's Julio Senio didn't even have to move. Expresso Ranelagh's Mariano Artaldo got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Expresso Ranelagh's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Albino Inko was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Cirilo Fraco hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. 85 minutes into the match, Asesinos Por Naturaleza's Albino Inko sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Senio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Osvaldo Rozarius was a little too slow when Lucio Primeiro got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 93rd minute. The score was now 4-2. Expresso Ranelagh's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
