The Celtic FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Lázaro Donostia who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 8thth minute tested the skills of Angelo Quico when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Jimeno Pitin scored 0-2 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Modesto Bingen, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 13 minutes into the match, Desfachatados F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Alonzo Ortzi came free, but Modesto Bingen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benjamin Cambranes took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Angelo Quico. Angelo Quico dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Desfachatados F.C.'s Modesto Bingen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jimeno Pitin in the 18th minute of play. When Eleuterio Ulizes was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 22 minutes had been played. In the 28th minute of the match Marcelo Vellito sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Modesto Bingen skillfully saved the ball. Modesto Bingen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alonzo Ortzi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 34 minutes, Anier Oalo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Celtic FC and the Desfachatados F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 34 played minutes Celtic FC got a freekick which was hit by Anier Oalo. In the 35thth minute of the game Benjamin Cambranes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Celtic FC's Angelo Quico was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Desfachatados F.C.'s Modesto Bingen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jimeno Pitin in the 37th minute of play. Marcelo Vellito kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Bernardo Cresconio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Benjamin Cambranes did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-2 to the left of a surprised Angelo Quico 44 minutes into the match. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Angelo Quico showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benjamin Cambranes, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. In the 60th minute, Bernardo Cresconio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Angelo Quico was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. Angelo Quico made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernardo Cresconio in the 63rd minute of play. Desfachatados F.C.'s Modesto Bingen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Desfachatados F.C. from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Celtic FC's zone, Damaso Clis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Angelo Quico came out of the goal and Damaso Clis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Benjamin Cambranes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 81 minutes into the match, Desfachatados F.C.'s goalkeeper Modesto Bingen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alonzo Ortzi. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernardo Cresconio in the 82nd minute of play forced Celtic FC's goalkeeper Angelo Quico to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
