An unexpectedly hard shot by Hernan Rios in the 29th minute of play forced LA MAQUINA F.C's goalkeeper Gao Chao Jing to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 33rd minute, Teodosio Jusepe ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gao Chao Jing was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 35 minutes into the match, Angel Benet dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Zeledon Ramone, 1-1. The supporters of Black Sky FC booed when LA MAQUINA F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rogelio Fliz didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to LA MAQUINA F.C getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Angel Benet hit a great ball. Gao Chao Jing took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hernan Rios, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dalmacio Jeraldo to make the kick off. LA MAQUINA F.C's attentive Manuel Dolfos managed to snatch the ball when Lino Buinton made a throw-in in the 53rd minute of the game. Angel Benet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. LA MAQUINA F.C's Javier Peter was substituted for Angel Benet. Lino Buinton was slow to take the kick. During this time Black Sky FC's players had a chance to rest. Manuel Dolfos hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dalmacio Jeraldo in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zeledon Ramone saved Black Sky FC from getting behind. In the 86th minute, Bernabe Walme hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Black Sky FC's goalkeeper Zeledon Ramone, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Black Sky FC's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because LA MAQUINA F.C had won, even though Black Sky FC had held more of the ball.
