Dionisio Matia was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Saverio Cristofor hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. In the 18th minute, Eusebio Mendiko made a precise shot to the right of Dionisio Matia. Tello AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Dionisio Matia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eusebio Mendiko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 30 minutes in the game Rosendo Fiz did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Silvestre Vermudo. After a rather tough play, A.A. Cachila's Nereo Eleder got a free kick in the 32nd minute. When Eusebio Mendiko came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the A.A. Cachila fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eusebio Mendiko couldn't finish the play. After 38 played minutes A.A. Cachila got a freekick which was hit by Miguel Bautista. In the 41st match minute, A.A. Cachila was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miguel Bautista to maneuver through the defense. Silvestre Vermudo struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Ernesto Sesuldo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tello AFC. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Emilio Colas to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emilio Colas in the 56th minute of play forced A.A. Cachila's goalkeeper Ernesto Sesuldo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 60 minutes in the game, Hector Napier fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Dionisio Matia having to interfere. Eusebio Mendiko received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Dionisio Matia came out and tried to block the shot, but Eusebio Mendiko slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 62nd minute. Nereo Eleder hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. 68 minutes into the game, Eusebio Mendiko was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. A.A. Cachila's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tello AFC the free kick. A collision led to A.A. Cachila getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Eusebio Mendiko hit a great ball. Ernesto Sesuldo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emilio Colas, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. After having played for 85 minutes, Eusebio Mendiko managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. A.A. Cachila's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eusebio Mendiko was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Tello AFC's zone, Victoriano Paio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dionisio Matia came out of the goal and Victoriano Paio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched A.A. Cachila eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
