The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Simon Hats showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victoriano Sazon, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Simon Hats stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Victoriano Sazon's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. 14 minutes into the match, Atilano Jeraldo sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Benigno Guillem threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Atilano Jeraldo this time. When La Candela FC's Victoriano Sazon in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. But to his dismay, Fulgencio Berto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Jaime Iratzeder hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. When the match clock showed 34 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Victoriano Sazon sped through Margarita's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Simon Hats.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jaime Iratzeder stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Jaime Iratzeder managed to get in a good position for a shot. Margarita's supporters rose to their feet, but Jaime Iratzeder was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benigno Guillem breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 52nd match minute, La Candela FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vicente Gerazan to maneuver through the defense. Fulgencio Berto scored 0-3 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Simon Hats, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Simon Hats showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amadeo Su in the 65th minute of the match. After 68 played minutes Margarita got a freekick which was hit by Atilano Jeraldo. Simon Hats took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victoriano Sazon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Victoriano Sazon's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Simon Hats read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. Margarita's Simon Hats played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tiburcio Bonadona in the 74th minute of play. Fulgencio Berto took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Simon Hats. Simon Hats dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. If Fulgencio Berto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Simon Hats showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victoriano Sazon, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. When Victoriano Sazon came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the La Candela FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Victoriano Sazon couldn't finish the play. In the 84th minute, Fulgencio Berto left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The La Candela FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. Benigno Guillem showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jaime Iratzeder, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Simon Hats made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Victoriano Sazon sent off a good shot on target. La Candela FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
