Gavino Luke didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Silvano Salvadore went, in the 4th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Silvano Salvadore during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 9 played minutes Patricio Rey Futbol Club got a freekick which was hit by Silvano Salvadore. If Ildefonso Ortle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvano Salvadore in the 12th minute of play forced Gaviotas FC's goalkeeper Gavino Luke to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gavino Luke made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aldo Felipillo in the 14th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Patricio Rey Futbol Club's Silvano Salvadore got a free kick in the 21st minute. Aldo Felipillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gavino Luke having to interfere. Gavino Luke showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aldo Felipillo in the 27th minute of the match. Roberto Txaran charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Roberto Txaran the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Roberto Txaran kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ildefonso Ortle in the 33rd minute of play forced Patricio Rey Futbol Club's goalkeeper Rogelio Goyo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nicolas Eguntsenti kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. When Silvano Salvadore came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Patricio Rey Futbol Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Silvano Salvadore couldn't finish the play. Fabricio Jakobe hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Aldo Felipillo scored 0-2 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gavino Luke, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gavino Luke showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aldo Felipillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ildefonso Ortle made a kick off. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gaviotas FC's goalkeeper Gavino Luke, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 60th match minute, Patricio Rey Futbol Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silvano Salvadore to maneuver through the defense. In the 61st minute, Silvano Salvadore hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 66th minute Ildefonso Ortle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rogelio Goyo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 69 minutes into the match, Patricio Rey Futbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Godfredo Quinteros came free, but Rogelio Goyo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gaviotas FC's Rodolfo Ursino was substituted for Godfredo Quinteros. Aldo Felipillo hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. The referee ignored Gaviotas FC's protests and gave Isidro Vimaro a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Gaviotas FC's Isidro Vimaro got a free kick in the 75th minute. 76 minutes into the match, Patricio Rey Futbol Club's Nicolas Eguntsenti sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gavino Luke narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Rodolfo Ursino blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rogelio Goyo having to make a save. Gaviotas FC's Ildefonso Ortle managed to work through Patricio Rey Futbol Club's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Ildefonso Ortle dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. If Silvano Salvadore had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 86th match minute, Patricio Rey Futbol Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aldo Felipillo to maneuver through the defense. Gavino Luke showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aldo Felipillo in the 89th minute of the match. Rogelio Goyo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ildefonso Ortle in the 96th minute of play. When the match was over Patricio Rey Futbol Club could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Gaviotas FC throughout the match.
