In the 9thth minute of the game Gaudencio Foro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Palermo's Enrique Lekubegi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicanor Gaufred in the 12th minute of play forced Berserkers FC Ψ's goalkeeper Enrique Batista to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 12 played minutes Berserkers FC Ψ got a freekick which was hit by Gaudencio Foro. If Gaudencio Foro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 23rd minute Evelio Guipuzkoa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enrique Batista saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Enrique Batista showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evelio Guipuzkoa in the 23rd minute of the match. Enrique Batista came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Palermo's Nicanor Gaufred. But to his dismay, Nicanor Gaufred quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ricardo Turi got free with Enrique Lekubegi in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Enrique Batista showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicanor Gaufred, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. In the 35th minute, Berserkers FC Ψ's Ricardo Turi ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Enrique Lekubegi. Enrique Lekubegi yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. When Berserkers FC Ψ's Gaudencio Foro in the 52nd minute got a chance for a shot 52nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
