Club Atletico Chusca's Fidel Barrionuevo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Uriel Txordon in the 3rd minute of play. After 4 minutes of play, RIVER's Uriel Txordon made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fidel Barrionuevo was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximiliano Rey in the 9th minute of play forced Club Atletico Chusca's goalkeeper Fidel Barrionuevo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fidel Barrionuevo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ismael Medina Bello, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. The audience was convinced that Uriel Txordon's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fidel Barrionuevo was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. Fidel Barrionuevo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. After having played for 38 minutes, Maximiliano Rey managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. RIVER's supporters crossed their fingers, but Maximiliano Rey was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ismael Medina Bello kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Aquilino Jokin hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Club Atletico Chusca's Fidel Barrionuevo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ismael Medina Bello in the 44th minute of play. After 45 played minutes RIVER got a freekick which was hit by Feliberto Sadurni. Fidel Barrionuevo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Uriel Txordon in the 48th minute of the match. After the first half RIVER were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Alonzo Lugo made the kick off in the second half. Uriel Txordon scored 0-5 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fidel Barrionuevo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Club Atletico Chusca's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Uriel Txordon was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-8. Basilio Pere kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. In the 75th minute, Pastor Nesto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 78th minute, RIVER's Ismael Medina Bello dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-9. When Anselmo Esdras came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the RIVER fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anselmo Esdras couldn't finish the play. 82 minutes into the match, Maximiliano Rey notched a goal, 0-10, to the right of Club Atletico Chusca's Fidel Barrionuevo. Fidel Barrionuevo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 85 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Chusca's goal looked a bit too open when Anselmo Esdras came free, but Fidel Barrionuevo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Uriel Txordon's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fidel Barrionuevo was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. In the 90th minute Uriel Txordon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fidel Barrionuevo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Club Atletico Chusca's Fidel Barrionuevo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ismael Medina Bello in the 95th minute of play. The Club Atletico Chusca fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. RIVER were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
