Tiburcio Maore showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ivan Poncio in the 4th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Teodosio Bitxintxo during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Fabio Herauso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hilario Juvenal, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. In the 14th minute, Club Atletico Fenix's Ricardo Bernabel seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Ricardo Bernabel the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Club Atletico Fenix protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Ricardo Bernabel had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 14th minute of the game. One of Club Atletico Fenix:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Club Atletico Chusca:s goal. In the 16th minute there was a penalty for Club Atletico Chusca. Bernardino Orlondon stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Fabio Herauso. 0-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ivan Poncio got free with Tiburcio Maore in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 24 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Chusca's goalkeeper Tiburcio Maore had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ivan Poncio. Fabio Herauso came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Atletico Chusca's Hilario Juvenal. But to his dismay, Hilario Juvenal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 31st minute Leonel Basajaun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabio Herauso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Teodosio Bitxintxo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Damian Hitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiburcio Maore having to interfere. Club Atletico Chusca's Tiburcio Maore played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivan Poncio in the 40th minute of play. Damian Hitz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tiburcio Maore made an important save on a dangerous shot by Damian Quintun in the 44th minute. If Damian Hitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ivan Poncio made a kick off. Damian Hitz hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. 68 minutes into the game, Damian Hitz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Atletico Fenix's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Atletico Chusca the free kick. After a rather tough play, Club Atletico Fenix's Damian Hitz got a free kick in the 68th minute. When Damian Hitz came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Club Atletico Fenix fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Damian Hitz couldn't finish the play. Hilario Juvenal in the 78thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Fabio Herauso, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Placido Hernandez's late challenge caught a Club Atletico Fenix's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Placido Hernandez helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Club Atletico Chusca getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Placido Hernandez hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Club Atletico Chusca defense, Ivan Poncio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tiburcio Maore. The Club Atletico Chusca fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tiburcio Maore should have stopped the shot. Damian Quintun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Tiburcio Maore tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Damian Hitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bernardino Orlondon hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Club Atletico Fenix's attentive Damian Hitz managed to snatch the ball when Rafael Guifre made a throw-in in the 88th minute of the game. In the 91st minute, Hilario Juvenal made a precise shot to the right of Fabio Herauso. Club Atletico Fenix's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. In the 96th minute Ivan Poncio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiburcio Maore saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Although Club Atletico Fenix had been in control for most of the match, Club Atletico Chusca still came away with the win.
