CA Quake's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Andy Johnson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After 7 minutes of play, Inter Miami CF's Guido Maties made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luciano Valente was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, CA Quake's Eduardo Venerando got a free kick in the 13th minute. After 14 minutes of play, Inter Miami CF's Guido Maties made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. In the 18th minute, Guido Maties got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 19th minute Guido Maties shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luciano Valente saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 21st minute, Andy Johnson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luciano Valente was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. When the match clock showed 24 minutes, the score became 0-5 when Guido Maties sped through CA Quake's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Luciano Valente. 27 minutes into the game, Andy Johnson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Luciano Valente was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 29th match minute, CA Quake was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marco Rodriguez to maneuver through the defense. Luciano Valente took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guido Maties, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 36 minutes into the game, Inter Miami CF's Benedicto Maiorga nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luciano Valente made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-7. Armando Matia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eduardo Venerando in the 42nd minute of the match. 42 minutes into the game, CA Quake's Eduardo Venerando nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Armando Matia made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-7. In the 46th match minute, Inter Miami CF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benedicto Maiorga to maneuver through the defense. Inter Miami CF's Armando Matia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eduardo Venerando in the 47th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-7 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eduardo Venerando made a kick off. In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind CA Quake's goalkeeper Luciano Valente, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 56th minute, Honorato Joanes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luciano Valente showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guido Maties, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. After 62nd play minutes Eduardo Venerando shot 2-7, a short shot which went by Armando Matia and just under the crossbar into goal. 64 minutes into the match, Guido Maties notched a goal, 2-8, to the right of CA Quake's Luciano Valente. Luciano Valente was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Luciano Valente made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Guido Maties sent off a good shot on target. Luciano Valente didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Juan Raúl Riquelme went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-9 was the resulting score. With a little luck, CA Quake's Luciano Valente got control of the ball when Juan Raúl Riquelme tried to sneak it across the goal line. CA Quake's Luciano Valente proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save CA Quake from getting a goal against them. With his leg Luciano Valente managed to avoid a goal in the 76thth minute, when Inter Miami CF's Guido Maties fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When Juan Raúl Riquelme came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Inter Miami CF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Juan Raúl Riquelme couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Guido Maties's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Luciano Valente was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. 89 minutes into the game, Guido Maties recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Luciano Valente. Guido Maties showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-10. In the 93rdth minute of the game Guido Maties who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CA Quake's Luciano Valente was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Andy Johnson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Inter Miami CF's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
