Spectators: 154 (Terracing: 116, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) Inter Miami CF's Guido Maties started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Andy Johnson in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arnoldo Gabrio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Juan Raúl Riquelme's late challenge caught a Dionisia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Juan Raúl Riquelme helped the player get up and apologised. Guido Maties sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 15 played minutes, Inter Miami CF's Julio Errando shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Arnoldo Gabrio came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Inter Miami CF reached it. Arnoldo Gabrio came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Inter Miami CF's Benedicto Maiorga. But to his dismay, Benedicto Maiorga quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. After 24 played minutes Inter Miami CF got a freekick which was hit by Tobias Xacintu. Valentin Sugar hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Honorato Joanes lost his temper 27 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 28th match minute, Inter Miami CF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Honorato Joanes to maneuver through the defense. 29 minutes into the match, Dionisia's Placido Porfirio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Armando Matia narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 30 minutes into the game, Dionisia's Fabian Milio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Armando Matia made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind Inter Miami CF's goalkeeper Armando Matia, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 41st minute, Efrain Ubendu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 44 minutes, Juan Raúl Riquelme managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Inter Miami CF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Juan Raúl Riquelme was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fabian Milio was the one to do the kick off. If Fabian Milio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Armando Matia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabian Milio in the 53rd minute of play. Juan Raúl Riquelme received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Arnoldo Gabrio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juan Raúl Riquelme in the 58th minute of the match. Dionisia's Arnoldo Gabrio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benedicto Maiorga in the 87th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juan Raúl Riquelme in the 93rd minute of play forced Dionisia's goalkeeper Arnoldo Gabrio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Inter Miami CF's Andy Johnson got a free kick in the 94th minute.
