The audience thought a goal was coming when Leonardo Claude got free with Epifanio Bastia in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience was convinced that Baldomiro Evangelista's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Patricio Gartxot was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. Aerolineas Argentinas FC's Epifanio Bastia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hernan Olayo in the 20th minute of play. In the 21st minute of the match Tama got a corner. Aerolineas Argentinas FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. After a defensive mix-up in Aerolineas Argentinas FC's zone, Alejo Leheren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Leonardo Claude was the one to do the kick off. When Clodoveo Ederono came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Aerolineas Argentinas FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Clodoveo Ederono couldn't finish the play. 57 minutes into the game, Tama's Leonardo Claude nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Epifanio Bastia made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. 60 minutes into the match, Aerolineas Argentinas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Leonardo Claude came free, but Epifanio Bastia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Aerolineas Argentinas FC reached it. Maximo Bizen hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Patricio Gartxot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Celso Soin, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Epifanio Bastia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonardo Claude, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 71 minutes into the match, Aerolineas Argentinas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alejo Leheren came free, but Epifanio Bastia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Tama's Maximo Bizen got a free kick in the 76th minute. Baldomiro Evangelista who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 84thth minute tested the skills of Patricio Gartxot when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bartolo Mingo in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Epifanio Bastia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Tama's zone, Celso Soin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Patricio Gartxot came out of the goal and Celso Soin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
