The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 14 minutes into the match, Almeyra F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Joel Pio came free, but Edelmiro Ticho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee ignored Almeyra F.C.'s protests and gave Leonardo Paublo a yellow card for diving instead. Edelmiro Ticho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Pio, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. After 41 minutes Almeyra F.C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Juan Txomin who took care of the corner kick. The corner led to C. S. C. S. Peron y Belgrano's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Almeyra F.C. the free kick. In the 41st match minute, C. S. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joel Pio couldn't finish the play. Edelmiro Ticho was out of position in the 97 minute of play, and Joel Pio capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Joel Pio really showed his touch with that goal: 1-4. When the final whistle sounded C. S. Peron y Belgrano left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Almeyra F.C..
