The Urko FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. The Palermo AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Israel Odilon to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute Leonel Gamus suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Israel Odilon's late challenge caught a Urko FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Israel Odilon helped the player get up and apologised. Urko FC's Valentin Matia was substituted for Leonel Gamus. Severino Barros was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. The audience thought a goal was coming when Humberto Leocadio got free with Severino Barros in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 67th match minute, Palermo AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tobias Sasoin to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Palermo AFC defense, Humberto Leocadio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Severino Barros. The Palermo AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Severino Barros should have stopped the shot.
