Andres Leoncio's late challenge caught a El Azulgrana's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After 5 played minutes Palermo AFC got a freekick which was hit by Andres Leoncio. 5 minutes into the match, El Azulgrana's Cirilo Gorosti sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Severino Barros narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Aaron Estevon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Israel Odilon in the 11th minute of the match. 11 minutes into the game, Aquilino Vergaray was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. El Azulgrana's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Palermo AFC the free kick. A collision led to El Azulgrana getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Aquilino Vergaray hit a great ball. When Palermo AFC's Israel Odilon in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. El Azulgrana's Justino Dunixi got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 24thth minute of the game Israel Odilon who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but El Azulgrana's Aaron Estevon was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Ildefonso Dominix came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the El Azulgrana fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ildefonso Dominix couldn't finish the play. Through an outstanding action, after 32 minutes, Severino Barros successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Aaron Estevon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Israel Odilon in the 35th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Palermo AFC's Teodosio Stanislao got a free kick in the 36th minute. In the 39th minute of the match El Azulgrana got a corner. Palermo AFC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Cirilo Gorosti ran over to the corner to take the kick. Andres Leoncio thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Severino Barros, a very annoying self made goal in the 39th minute which led to 1-1. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

After some careless play in the Palermo AFC defense, Cirilo Gorosti kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Severino Barros. The Palermo AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Severino Barros should have stopped the shot. Severino Barros didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cirilo Gorosti went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Severino Barros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cirilo Gorosti, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Severino Barros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cirilo Gorosti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Palermo AFC fans' excitement grew in the 83rd match minute when Palermo AFC's Israel Odilon looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. El Azulgrana's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
