Alonzo Baristo made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Angelo Urtzi sent off a good shot on target. With 16 minutes on the clock, Blas Oto commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. A collision led to KYRA FC getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Blas Oto hit a great ball. Alonzo Baristo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ciriaco Weather in the 18th minute of play. A well placed Eloy Oskarbi short distance shot in the 21st minute ended with a hard ball which without a chance for the goalkeeper went staright up into the goalkeepers left cross. In the 25th minute Eloy Oskarbi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alonzo Baristo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Baldomiro Fernanco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Alonzo Baristo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alonzo Baristo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eloy Oskarbi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 36thth minute of the game Severo Gaitan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but KYRA FC's Alonzo Baristo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Eloy Oskarbi got in the 38th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Alonzo Baristo handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Eloy Oskarbi took the ball and in the 43 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alonzo Baristo. Alonzo Baristo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mauro Eleder to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Olds School Pepo booed when KYRA FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marco Jago didn't get a good kick on the ball.
