C.del.U FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ceferino Mel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zacarias Abreu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 47 minutes, Hernan Florin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Black Rose 1979 and the C.del.U FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of C.del.U FC booed when Black Rose 1979 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hernan Florin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Desiderio Alvarez made the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Black Rose 1979's Zacarias Abreu got control of the ball when Ceferino Mel tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 75thth minute of the game Amador Viator who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Black Rose 1979's Zacarias Abreu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Anastasio Pueblo hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Ceferino Mels short, quick shot in the 91stth minute got Zacarias Abreu to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adrian Reno in the 93rd minute of play forced C.del.U FC's goalkeeper Eleuterio Daunte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 94th minute, German Chaime hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eleuterio Daunte took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacinto Fagondo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Chants of C.del.U FC echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Black Rose 1979 had held the ball for most of the match.
