Silvestre Toli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erasmo Beltza in the 5th minute of the match. After 5 minutes, Anastasio Nuno mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the C.A.Esparta and the Potrerillo Azuleño players grew even worse after the yellow card. After having played for 6 minutes, Elias Etxahun managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Potrerillo Azuleño's supporters crossed their fingers, but Elias Etxahun was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of C.A.Esparta booed when Potrerillo Azuleño was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maximo Piarres didn't get a good kick on the ball. 16 minutes into the match, C.A.Esparta's Armando Manuelo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Silvestre Toli narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 19th match minute, C.A.Esparta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adolfo Silbestre to maneuver through the defense. Silvestre Toli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adolfo Silbestre, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. A collision led to Potrerillo Azuleño getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Cleto Garoa hit a great ball. In the 23rd minute, Ramiro Aimar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Potrerillo Azuleño's Isaias Lop got a free kick in the 28th minute. Isaias Lop hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. 39 minutes into the match, Potrerillo Azuleño's goal looked a bit too open when Lino Arnau came free, but Silvestre Toli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Potrerillo Azuleño's Silvestre Toli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lino Arnau in the 39th minute of play. Silvestre Toli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilberto Nofre in the 43rd minute of play. Gervasio Cordearo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Mauricio Tabor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Potrerillo Azuleño booed when C.A.Esparta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Agustin Opilano didn't get a good kick on the ball. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Elias Etxahun was the one to do the kick off. Potrerillo Azuleño's Silvestre Toli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erasmo Beltza in the 53rd minute of play. 55 minutes into the match, Potrerillo Azuleño's goalkeeper Silvestre Toli had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carolo Solustiano. Carolo Solustiano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Silvestre Toli made a huge save. Isaias Lop hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. 62 minutes into the match, Gilberto Nofre notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Potrerillo Azuleño's Silvestre Toli. Silvestre Toli was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 67th minute Gilberto Nofre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvestre Toli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as C.A.Esparta's Gilberto Nofre slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Silvestre Toli. That made the score 1-3 after 86 minutes of play. 88 minutes into the game, C.A.Esparta's Carolo Solustiano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Silvestre Toli made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. Silvestre Toli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erasmo Beltza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Potrerillo Azuleño fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. C.A.Esparta were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
