The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.
Luganeros AFC's Damaso Rencio got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lucas Gutxi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ernesto Pepillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Lucas Gutxi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Damaso Rencio went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Fabricio Blanco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Luganeros AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Fabricio Blanco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lucas Gutxi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mauro Sendoa kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. The supporters of Luganeros AFC booed when Orozcos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabricio Esiquio didn't get a good kick on the ball. 90 minutes into the game, Luganeros AFC's Damaso Rencio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lucas Gutxi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1.
