Orozcos's Lucas Gutxi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 2nd minute of the match, managed to save Orozcos from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Elias Piarres got free with Lucas Gutxi in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of El Millo de Haedo booed when Orozcos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elpidio Pes didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fabricio Esiquio during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The long shot by Sixto Vincent in the 10th minute really tested Lucas Gutxi's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Lucas Gutxi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicolas Azubeli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sixto Vincent charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sixto Vincent the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 16 played minutes El Millo de Haedo got a freekick which was hit by Sixto Vincent. 18 minutes into the match, El Millo de Haedo's goal looked a bit too open when Elpidio Pes came free, but Antonio Carrizo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Antonio Carrizo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gavino Godoy went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Pedro Luís Schmidt hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. El Millo de Haedo's Antonio Carrizo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonas Playo in the 25th minute of play. After 32 minutes, Igor Mundo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Orozcos and the El Millo de Haedo players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 37 played minutes El Millo de Haedo got a freekick which was hit by Florentino Veto. Antonio Carrizo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gavino Godoy went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Orozcos's Lucas Gutxi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicolas Azubeli in the 43rd minute of play. After some careless play in the Orozcos defense, Nicolas Azubeli kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lucas Gutxi. The Orozcos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lucas Gutxi should have stopped the shot. After the first half Orozcos were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Clodoveo Leocadio to make the kick off. The audience was convinced that Nicolas Azubeli's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lucas Gutxi was relentless in the 51st minute of the game. After a rather tough play, El Millo de Haedo's Bonifacio Garoa got a free kick in the 53rd minute. In the 55th minute Nicolas Azubeli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucas Gutxi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 56th minute, Hector Cai hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Antonio Carrizo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jonas Playo in the 60th minute. Elias Piarres kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. After 66 minutes of play El Millo de Haedo's Sixto Vincent was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, El Millo de Haedo's Sixto Vincent got a free kick in the 66th minute. Nicolas Azubeli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucas Gutxi having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nicolas Azubeli in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lucas Gutxi saved Orozcos from getting behind. Lucas Gutxi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedro Luís Schmidt, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nicolas Azubeli in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lucas Gutxi saved Orozcos from getting behind. The supporters of El Millo de Haedo booed when Orozcos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabricio Esiquio didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Nicolas Azubeli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 82 minutes into the match, Clodoveo Leocadio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Antonio Carrizo. El Millo de Haedo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Clodoveo Leocadio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. If Elias Piarres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 88th minute, Elias Piarres left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The El Millo de Haedo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. Orozcos's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
