If Mauricio Jurdan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience was convinced that Victoriano Banegas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Damaso Panfilo was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. Camilo Marin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Octavio Lauaxeta made a huge save. 23 minutes into the match, Furia Calamar's goal looked a bit too open when Feliberto Mouricio came free, but Damaso Panfilo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Horacio Behe hit a great ball. Feliberto Mouricio took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 42nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Damaso Panfilo. Furia Calamar's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Furia Calamar's goalkeeper Damaso Panfilo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 47th minute, Mauricio Jurdan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Simbo FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Victoriano Banegas made a kick off. With a little luck, Furia Calamar's Damaso Panfilo got control of the ball when Mauricio Jurdan tried to sneak it across the goal line. Damaso Panfilo didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 57th minute, which inside left pole to 0-3. In the 61st minute Victoriano Banegas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damaso Panfilo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Furia Calamar booed when Simbo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Feliberto Mouricio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Furia Calamar's Erubiel Matthew got his second yellow card of the match in the 70th minute. The referee ordered Erubiel Matthew off the ground. When the match clock showed 89 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Victoriano Banegas sped through Furia Calamar's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Damaso Panfilo. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Horacio Behe during the 96th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 96 played minutes Furia Calamar got a freekick which was hit by Horacio Behe. Simbo FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
