In the 8th minute of the match Filiberto Remir sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but David Valente skillfully saved the ball. Constantino Modestio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aureliano Pancho went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. After 17 minutes of play, Los Podridos ll's Remigio Bernabel made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Constantino Modestio was left in no man's land by his defense there! 20 minutes into the match, Los Podridos ll's goal looked a bit too open when Filiberto Remir came free, but David Valente reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Los Podridos ll's zone, Andres Lucero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. David Valente came out of the goal and Andres Lucero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Constantino Modestio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Remigio Bernabel, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Tadeo Eztebe struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. David Valente didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for 0 descensos. Filiberto Remir recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 40th minute, Fabian Herauso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 40 played minutes, 0 descensos's Filiberto Remir shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper David Valente came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in 0 descensos reached it. After some careless play in the Los Podridos ll defense, Andres Lucero kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of David Valente. The Los Podridos ll fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that David Valente should have stopped the shot. Celso Quintana kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. The supporters of Los Podridos ll booed when 0 descensos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filiberto Remir didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.
