With a little luck, Stronghold S.A's Federico Abascal got control of the ball when Nestor Chap tried to sneak it across the goal line. Federico Abascal was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Delmiro Macerio showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 35 minute of play. 38 minutes into the game, Nestor Chap cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Federico Abascal was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Zacarias Erasto fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Stronghold S.A's protests and gave Zacarias Erasto a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Stronghold S.A getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Zacarias Erasto hit a great ball. Federico Abascal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ermegildo Sotil's shot from short distance in the 47th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Horacio Xabier stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ignacio Ignatius received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Federico Abascal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Stronghold S.A's Elvio Sidoro got a free kick in the 57th minute. Federico Abascal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rolando Su in the 58th minute of play. 60 minutes into the game, Q. T. I.'s Delmiro Macerio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Federico Abascal made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ignacio Ignatius in the 63rd minute of play forced Stronghold S.A's goalkeeper Federico Abascal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 64 minutes into the match, Stronghold S.A's goal looked a bit too open when Ermegildo Sotil came free, but Federico Abascal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Nestor Chap's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Federico Abascal was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. I.'s Paulo Txatxu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Horacio Xabier in the 96th minute of play. Q. T. I.'s supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
